When it comes to Thanksgiving, turkey takes center stage on most tables, but we all know the sides are the real stars of the show. If you or someone attending your gathering has dietary restrictions, Thanksgiving’s traditional rich and decadent side dishes can be full of butter, cream, gluten, nuts and other common allergens.
Octofree to the rescue!
All 14 side dishes here, including traditional offerings like stuffing, mashed potatoes with gravy, cranberry sauce, rice pilaf, scalloped potatoes and brussels sprouts, are free of the top 8 most common food allergens (milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, soy and wheat).
I also included some options that can be served as the whole meal at a small gathering, and a selection of savory soups that would be great, filling options to take along to someone else’s house so you know you have something safe to eat.
